Statement of W. M. Langford of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. On or about the 5th. of February I had to go back to the foundry and do some work, so I had gone to the store to get something for my wife to eat, and was carrying my gun back to work with me, I stopped there and talked ' to my brother-in-law and three more boys I know. Mr. Waddell came up and took my gun off me and he never took my name or anything, just took my gun and told me to come up next evening for trial. I ask him what the fine would be, he said, "He did not know," and took my gun and keep it. I ask him for my gun several times and he would not give it to me. The reason why I carried the gun was I was held up and robbed the week prior, of my hat and $4.75. Authority was granted me to carry my gun by Mr. Hinz, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
