Toe 42d Neeting -of the Red River Compact Commission was convened
by the Chairman, Najor General Rollins, at 9 a.m., 19 November 1969,
in the Baker Hotel, Dallas, Texas. An attendance list is attached.
General Rollins introduced himself as the new Federal represent-ative,
replacing General NacDonne11 who has retired. He also intro-duced
Hr. W. R. Bryant, who was appointed to succeed Hr. Leighton
NcKinney, deceased, subse'luent to the 41st Neeting. Each Commissioner
introduced the other representatives from his State,and the represent-atives
of the Federal agencies were recognized.
The Ninutes of the 41st Meeting were approved as drafted, with
the exception of the following revision which was suggested by the
State of Louisiana: The last sentence in the first paragraph on page 3
which read, "It was agreed that each member of the Engineering Advisory
Committee should prepare in as complete form as practicable the data
for his respective State and furnish the data to his Corrilllissioner," was
revised to read, "It ,'as agreed that each member of the Engineering
Advisory Co~~ittee should prepare, in as corplete a form as practicable,
all data pertinent to the reaches with ;rhich it is concerned and
furnish this data for incorporation into the Engineering Report."
