Gentlemen:
A meeting of the Engineering Advisory Committee (EAC) has been scheduled for
Monday, February 13, 1984 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in a meeting room in
the Hilton Inn, Bossier City, Louisiana.
A proposed agenda is enclosed. Also enclosed 1S a redraft of the recommendations
for Reach II, Subbasin 5 Compact compliance determination rules and regulations.
The redraft is intended to reflect the modifications proposed at the
December 14, 1983 EAC meeting.
Since the annual Red River Compact Commission meeting is scheduled for April
1984, it will probably be necessary at the February EAC meeting for the Comnittee
to discuss its report to the Commission on progress in accomplishing our
assignmen[. Hopefully we can complt>t(' .1S Illllch of our .1ssi~nmt'nt as possible ;mrt
identify those rules on which we are unable to make a recommendation.
