Come now said plaintiff in error and respectfully moves this Honorable Court to advance the above-entitled cause for early hearing, and in support thereof represents and shows as follows: 1. This is an action in mandamus wherein the plaintiff in error seeks to compel the Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma to admit her into the Law School of said university, and the cause involves the refusal to admit plaintiff in error to the said School of Law and as alleged by the plaintiff in error constitutes a denial of her constitutional rights. 2. The appeal herein has been pending in this court since August 17, 1946; that the legislature of the State of Oklahoma is now in session and because of the nature of the action should be decided by this court while the legislature is still in session.
