'Forever. For Real.' Begins Saturday
Learn the secrets to a happy, healthy, lifelong relationship.
Don’t forget to attend one of the upcoming “Forever. For Real.” relationship-building workshops. The events will be Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at both the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City and the Tulsa Convention Center.
“We will have people attend who are at every stage of their relationships – dating, engaged, married,” said Alicia Clark, OMI community relations specialist. “Some will attend to learn new skills to have successful relationships. Others are using the event as a refresher course – reminding themselves of ways to add energy and health to their relationships. I hope the people who attend will walk away equipped with tools to better journey through life together and with a renewed sense of hope and commitment.”
The events are open to everyone. Engaged couples qualify for a $45-discount on an Oklahoma marriage license.
The February “Forever. For Real.” events were scheduled to take advantage of couples’ natural focus on relationships around Valentine’s Day.
“In the month of February, couples are already focused on love,” said Amanda Carter, OMI community relations specialist. “We encourage couples to continue with that focus and dig even deeper with opportunities like ‘Forever. For Real.’ Candy and flowers are fun to receive, but the skills and information couples will learn at this workshop will last much longer.”
More information on the upcoming events is available at www.foreverforreal.com. Registration is still open for both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City events.
