Having trouble viewing this email? Click here IT'S GAMEDAY IN OOOOOKLAHOMA! Do those words sound like music to your ears, or what? It's time again to walk the streets of your favorite campus and smell the charcoaled aroma of juicy hamburgers and hotdogs, sweet, messy s'mores and campfires (if the burn ban gets lifted)! Not only are these favorite things indication that football season is finally back, but they also indicate we may eventually get some cooler weather. The fall is a time of family, fun and the beautiful outdoors. Make it a point to get a child outdoors this fall. Whether it's walking to your favorite team's stadium, hiking up Mount Scott at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, admiring the changing leaves in the Ouachita Mountains or watching the new winged visitors that appear, teach a child to be aware of the beauty outdoors. I enjoy taking photos of the various trees in Norman as I walk to the football games (yes, BOOMER SOONER!). Rich reds, bright yellows and deep oranges make the walk that much more enjoyable. I don't think I would appreciate this beauty had my family not instilled purpose in the outdoors within me. Now you may not be rooting for the same team, but we can all agree that football season, cooler weather and appreciation for the outdoors make for a perfect fall season. The fall is a beautiful time of the year, so teach a child to appreciate its beauty and create fond memories this season. Enjoy, Rachel
