Both abbreviated evening sessions (7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) and full-day sessions (9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) will be available. Registration is required, but is free. Registration is still open for the following locations: Bartlesville, Afton, Poteau, Idabel, Ardmore, Antlers, and Stillwater. All workshops will be directed by OSU fire meteorologist J. D. Carlson, OK-FIRE Program Manager. The link to the full announcement, which includes information on the workshops and how to register, can be found here. ANNOUNCEMENTS Condolences to: Amy Corser, Muskogee County Extension Secretary, on the death of her mother. Sharon Corser passed away Oct. 21. Funeral services took place Oct. 25 at Foster Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee. Cards may be sent to Amy at 5821 E. 83rd St. South, Muskogee, OK 74403. Condolences to: Craig McKinley, Extension Forester, on the death of his father. Vernon McKinley passed away Oct. 21. Funeral services took place Oct. 25 at the First United Methodist Church in Pauls Valley. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Pauls Valley, 401 N. Willow, Pauls Valley, OK 73075. Cards may be sent to Craig and Jean McKinley, 4905 Loper Ave., Stillwater, OK 74074. Condolences to: Linda Goodwin, Jefferson County Extension Senior Secretary, on the death of her husband. Ron Goodwin passed away Oct. 29. A celebration of his life will take place at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds tomorrow, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. Cards may be sent to Linda at the Jefferson County Extension Office, 220 N. Main, Waurika, 73573. AWARDS OAE4-HA Members Recognized at National Meeting: Members of the Oklahoma Association of Extension 4-H Agents recently attended the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents Professional Development Conference in Orlando, Fla. Members attending were Cathy Allen, State 4-H Office; Kevin Allen, State 4-H Office; Lorena Arcila, Tinker Air Force Base; Daniela Chavez, OKC Latino Community Agency; Samantha Ephgrave, Noble County; Jessie Furnish, Cleveland County; Janna Kelley, Pontotoc County; Karla Knoepfli, State 4-H Office; Tomas Manske, Canadian County; Cheryl Newberry, Southeast District 4-H Program Specialist; Jim Rutledge, Lifetime Member and Oklahoma 4-H Foundation Director; David Sorrell, Marshall County; Becky Walker, Pontotoc County; and Kyle Worthington, Oklahoma County.
