Comments From the Administrator
We had a very good turn out for
our Memorial Day Program on May
27th. Many family members,
organizations and volunteers were
here to participate in the
remembrance of our residents that
have expired since last May. We
would like to thank the American
Legion Post #79 for taking part in
the ceremony by Posting the Colors,
the 21 Gun Salute, Taps and
Retiring the Colors. We appreciate
this group for contributing to this
special time honoring those that
have gone on before us.
We would like to thank the Lions
Club, U.S. Forestry Department and
the U.S. Wild Life Department for
sponsoring the annual Fishing
Derby at the Center pond. Many
youth participated in the event and
took home a prize.
We are sad to say that we are no
longer permitted to purchase display
fireworks. On behalf of the
residents, employees and myself, I
want thank those of you that were
so faithful in giving toward this
annual event
Until next time, and as always,
'Caring for Americas Heroes."
