In conjunction with the celebration of February as Black History Month, Dr. Roger
Hardaway will speak on "Buffalo Soldiers: African American Troops in the American
West" at the Sod House Museum, Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m.
Hardaway is professor of history at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva
where he has been a member of the faculty since 1990.
The Sod House Museum is located south east of Aline on State Highway 8 and
open Tuesday through Saturday 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. For more information call
