The Center for Local Government
Technology, Oklahoma State University,
will conduct the 5th Annual Professional
Development Workshop Series, brought to
you by the Oklahoma County Officers
Training Program. The workshop will
repeat at four locations this year:
* July 14-15, 1992, Roman Nose State
Lodge.
* July 22-23, 1992, Western Hills Guest
Ranch.
* August 26-27, 1992, Fountainhead
Resort Hotel.
* September 28-29, 1992, Quartz Mountain
Resort.
This two day seminar for all Oklahoma
county officers is designed to stress the
management role of the elected county
official. We have developed an exciting
agenda this year with many important
topics and fun activities. Sessions
speakers are:
* Dr. Wayne Mathews - "Stress
Management," Assistant Professor,
Oklahoma State University.
* Ms. Karen Bloodworth - "The One
Minute Manager," Center For Local
Government Technology, Oklahoma State
University.
* Mr. Tim Lyon - "Recent Changes in
Personnel Issues Impacting County
Government," Center For Local
Government Technology, Oklahoma State
University.
At each location a cookout and
entertainment will be provided the first
evening. We will begin at 8:30 a.m. on
day one and adjourn at approximately 3:00
p.m. on day two. A $10 registration is
