by Jodie Paden

approximately 300 had gathered from
across the state at the Oklahoma
State Fairgrounds. Tension ran
high. The tornado that had ripped

Savoring the thrill of victory are (left to right) State
Champion Equipment Operators Vernon Martin, Backhoe; J.D.
Barton, Dump Truck and David Cross, Motor Grader.
