LeFlore County’s unemployment rate tops state in February
LeFlore County claimed Oklahoma’s highest county unemployment rate of 9.7 percent in February 2013.
Sequoyah County reported the second highest rate, and McCurtain County posted the third highest rate for the
month. Roger Mills County was the source of the state’s lowest February unemployment rate. Only two Oklahoma
counties (Sequoyah, Stephens) reported unemployment rate increases over the month.
