Reynolds Governor’s Cup. Wadley Clinic at NSU Improves Literacy of 89-Year- Old Veteran For adults, the basic skills of reading were achieved in days so bygone that we may barely remember how it occurred: the long hours of learning the alphabet, sounding out letters, then syllables, then whole words, then the years it took to go from spluttering over "Dick and Jane" to silently absorbing "The Outsiders" or Harry Potter. It is a long educational process. OSU-OKC Student Finds Real-World Experience Beneficial for Future OSU-Oklahoma City student Caleb Manning is leaving his mark on the university’s future in a lasting way. The renewable and sustainable energy senior is one of the many Lippert Bros. Inc. employees helping to construct OSU-OKC’s newest building – a 314-space parking garage. SWOSU Student Named OMRF Fleming Scholar Southwestern Oklahoma State University student Jamin Brown of Woodward has been named one of 11 Sir Alexander Fleming Scholars by the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. UCO Student Honored With American College Health Association Award American College Health Association (ACHA), a national nonprofit focused on the advancement of student’s health on college campuses, recently awarded University of Central Oklahoma graduate, Sara Shipley, the Lewis Barbato Award for her contributions to Central’s health and wellness programs. State Regents Recognize Institution, Business Partnerships Twenty-seven business and higher education partnerships throughout the state were recently recognized for innovative collaborations that strengthen Oklahoma’s workforce.
