FOR RELEASE: May 16, 2014 OKLAHOMA EMPLOYMENT REPORT – April 2014 Oklahoma’s unemployment rate down again in April The statewide seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for Oklahoma declined to 4.6 percent in April, a decrease of three-tenths of a percentage point over the month. The U.S. unemployment rate dropped by four-tenths to reach 6.3 percent. For the April-to-April period, Oklahoma’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate improved by seven-tenths of a percentage point.
