Oklahoma Employment Security Commission OESC is committed to: Increasing the quality of service to our customers, both employers and job seekers. Engaging job seekers in rapid reemployment. Improving our ability to detect fraud and ensuring we remain one of the states with the lowest incidence of fraud. In order to realize these commitments OESC is in the process of more fully integrating our Workforce Services (WS) and Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs. Historically, these programs have been reliant on one another, and we are working to ensure that the latest technology allows for continued integration of services. Through cross training, integration, and strategic resource utilization, OESC will create a first-in-class service delivery model. With this new service delivery model, OESC will be better able to focus on the rapid and successful reemployment of job seekers. The successful reemployment of job seekers benefits employers, and our state’s economy, through lower UI tax rates, low unemployment rates, and a productive and prosperous workforce. I look forward to providing you with more details in the future about this and other initiatives.
