FOR RELEASE: March 13, 2012 OKLAHOMA EMPLOYMENT REPORT - January 2012 State unemployment rate down in January Oklahoma’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate improved to 6.1 percent to open 2012, shedding 0.2 percentage points for the month. The national unemployment rate dropped to 8.3 percent in January. Over the year, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was down by 0.1 percentage points.
