A passion for narrative and for history was inevitable. Dr. Sheldon Russell, Professor Emeritus, is the author of four novels: Dreams to Dust: A Tale of the Oklahoma Land Rush, Requiem at Dawn, The Savage Trail, and Empire. Russell resides in historic Guthrie, Oklahoma, where he and his wife, Nancy, a sculptor, own and operate the Double Starr Studio and Gallery.
